Masquerade Pils

Logo: Masquerade Pils

Masquerade Pils is traditional German pilsner. Except it’s not a pilsner - nor German. It’s an ale from Finland.

Hopped with noble hops, light bodied with only finest pilsner malt. This is the ale that masquerades itself to almost perfect pils.

Only problem we had was: what to call it?

Since it’s characterisk is clearly pilsner, we would like to call it a pils. However since it’s fermented using ale yeast, it’s clearly ale. You can’t call it bitter, there’s barely any bitterness. Finally we looked thorough our hearts, and figured out what we should call it:

Pilsner Style Pale Ale.
